What Is Life?

Life is a collective experience. We homo sapiens apes make sounds that are heard, by other apes and other creatures. We are natural products of the "earth". We exist only on this planet. Maybe for now. We all breathe air and exhale air all the time. Our hearts beat constantly and our brains are always on. We share in our group survival. We contribute to the social life of the community. We develop within families. We learn all we can.  We develop physically. Our conscious minds grow physically and conceptually. We label things and use words and numbers to understand our world and our reality. Sex is the strongest force we know, between humans. We use all of our 5 senses, sight, smell, touch, hearing, tasting. We are never really alone. We exist in societies and other people know where we are, even if we're apart from others for a while. We cannot exist alone. We are social, communal beings that share everything. Almost. Each human experiences life uniquely and differently. We mimic every other ape we see subconsciously, mostly. But we choose which humans to be around, so it's like selective mimicry. We even mimic other things like animals and trees and buildings and motorbikes and fashion. Colors influence us deeply. So too does music. And art. And literature. And paintings. And architecture. And every other thing or subject we expose ourselves to. We are forced to choose. We open our minds and our hearts and our bodies and our imagination to the world and others. We contribute. We exist to help. To serve in some way. Any way. We feel it's our duty. Our purpose. We seek purpose and meaning in life, constantly. We live the moment and we exist in space-time-biology and we exist too in some way in geometry. Pattens-recognition. Rhythms. Harmonies. Drumbeats mimic heartbeats. We swell with pride at achievements. Others and ours. We dream and actualise our dreams. Where we can. In a resource-rich but finite universe. We live long together happy peaceful communal sharing caring loving growing righteously. Hopefully. We meditate to slow the heartrate through breathing and we contort our bodies in new ways every morning to seek insight in the quiet of night or day. Stimulus management. to manage stress-levels. Optimising nutrition. And information. Seeking to harmonise our bodies and our minds with our ever-changing environment, Thinking fast and slow. Energy use is automatic and constant but varies with motivation and insight. We grow and we know and we remember. Accumulations. De-accumulations. We invariably age. Knowledge of death opens our sense of urgency to some new heights. But is ultimately fatal. Death-thinking doesn't help in the long-run. Life positivity and life expectancy is better. Much better. It slows you down. Paces you nicely. We believe in spiritual beings and superstitions and gods and angels and prophets and scientists and psychologists and astrologers and writers and singers and mystics and witches and druids and gaming and movies and videos and technology. We broaden our imaginations through new experiences. We seek ultimate insight and inspiration constantly. Sometimes obsessively and / or compulsively. But we lie too, to protect ourselves from others for a little while. But the effect fades. We seek TRUTH and SURVIVAL and FULFILMENT and each our own, NIRVANA. Peace.
